Sony knows how and when to make money. They will launch their product when close to the end of the year. Right now they plan to launch Playstation 3 with 80GB the end of this month. The price will be the same with the one that they have last time with 40 GB. $399 is the regular price when you by at the store. If they out of stock and you really want it you could get it from ebay's and pay a little bit more.

As you know holiday is coming. For us in U.S, thanksgiving and Christmas is the day you want to buy stuff for someone you love or care. If you have teenager boy i believe playstation is the one that they ask and cry for.

So, if you really sony playstation freak you should start save your money and plan to stay on the line the end of this month. 

Jack Tretton (Sony North America CEO)  hope that Playstation 3 and Playstation portable will have good sales. He expect by march 2009 Playstation 3 will sells for 10 millions and playstation portable will sells for 15 millions.
